In Yonkers, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

I’ve been coming here for years, but I wanted to share some feedback for the gluten-free community since I’m a local food guide for the GF community on FMGF. A) They do offer gluten-free pasta, which is appreciated. B) The downside is the price. The gluten-free pasta substitution is $6, which is well above the national average of $2–$4. At that price point, I would expect something that justifies the premium; such as a dedicated gluten-free kitchen space, dedicated prep space, or a significantly expanded gluten-free menu. Instead, it’s simply a pasta substitution with very limited gluten-free options overall. The food itself is good, but unlike many competitors, they don’t offer gluten-free flour for other pasta dishes or additional gluten-free alternatives. Which, for the longest I didn’t mind but seeing the 100% markup, it completely stopped me in my tracks going forward. As someone with celiac disease who has supported this restaurant for many years, I’m genuinely disappointed. Living gluten-free is already significantly more expensive, and using β€œinflation” to justify a $6 substitution fee feels like it’s placing an even greater financial burden on people who don’t choose t

We went to celebrate my dad's birthday and anniversary. Sometimes I felt like the staff were ignoring us. The pasta was good but my husband didn't like his steak. I did enjoy the classic decorations.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. All these years later, I'm still going as much as I can. Now I'm taking my own kids! This is one of the most underrated restaurants in Yonkers. The food here is excellent! The service is top notch! You can pick anything from the menu and you are guaranteed a delicious, traditional Italian dish that tastes homemade. The owners of this restaurant did sell their business but it was purchased by the head chef who had been working there all these years so all of their plates are not only mouth-wateringly great but always consistent!
